Thank You, Please Hold.
Even Adele wouldn’t want to be saying hello to this hacker. Be weary of people out there that call you, posing as the household brands you know and love. We had a client who received a call from “Microsoft.” The caller informed them of a discrepancy with their account and asked for remote access in order to solve the issue. Somewhere during the phone call, the culprit asked for a credit card number for verification. What’s unfortunate is that it was given to them! Growing up, your parents tell you not to strangers. While that might be a bit much, never give out your card information. When this happens, give us a call and we’ll let you know if they’re safe!
